Data Intelligence Unit (DIU) Agreement
The Data Intelligence Unit has a well-established DIU Agreement available to Sandwell schools and academies which includes a package of systems and data services.
The core DIU Agreement includes access to the Perspective Lite website which includes prepopulated interactive reporting and Local Authority produced data reports for Sandwell schools. Access to the Fischer Family Trust Aspire website is also included within the package. The Agreement includes support for school census queries and general advice and guidance relating to systems and data.
The DIU Agreement for secondary schools and academies also includes the Learning Plus UK Post16 Datadashboard.

Attendance data has been a hot topic recently, please see further information about the 3 levels of attendance data included as part of the Core DIU Agreement.
There is an optional school census checking service for academies that can be purchased as an add on by schools that are already signed up to the core DIU Agreement. This only applies to academies as the local authority still has the responsibility to check and submit the census return for maintained schools.
