Jane Tailby: School Improvement Advisor
Jane has taught and led in primary schools for 30 years across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.
She has also been a SENDCo, Assistant Head and Headteacher. Her decade as a head was spent firstly in a village school for five years and then a large two form entry primary school for five years.
Jane is delighted to have joined the Sandwell team of SIAs in March 2024. Her area of expertise and passion is coaching, and she has just completed a Level 5 ILM coaching qualification; much of her work involves coaching school leaders to ensure they feel confident and empowered in their role.
Jane is also a secondary school governor in her local secondary school.
