Governance Arrangements
We are committed to working openly, responsibly and in the best interests of Tividale.
Sandwell Council acts as the Accountable Body for the Pride in Place programme, providing financial, governance and administrative support to the Board. The Board is responsible for shaping the vision for Tividale, identifying investment priorities and overseeing the delivery of projects that support local people and communities.
Our Board meets regularly throughout the year to review progress, discuss priorities and make decisions that help deliver positive change across Tividale. To support transparency, key documents, meeting information and important decisions will be published on this website.
Terms of Reference
Our Terms of Reference set out how the Board operates, including its responsibilities, membership arrangements and decision-making processes.
The document provides the framework for how we work together and helps ensure decisions are made consistently, transparently and in line with the aims of the Pride in Place programme.

Code of Conduct
All Board members are expected to uphold high standards of behaviour and leadership in their role.
Our Code of Conduct sets out the principles that guide how members work together, including integrity, accountability, openness, honesty and respect. Members are committed to acting in the best interests of Tividale and supporting a positive and constructive approach to Board business.

Conflicts of Interest
To help ensure decisions are fair and transparent, all Board members complete a Declaration of Interests form and declare any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest.
A Register of Interests is maintained by Sandwell Council, and any relevant interests are declared and recorded when Board business is discussed. Where appropriate, members may be asked to step away from discussions or decisions where a conflict exists.
These arrangements help maintain trust and confidence in the Board's decision-making and ensure that the interests of the Tividale community remain at the heart of our work.
