We are holding engagement events to raise awareness of the Smethwick Plan for Neighbourhoods programme and upcoming funding opportunities.
Smethwick has secured £20 million in government funding over a 10‑year period through the Plan for Neighbourhoods (Pride in Place) programme. The funding will support local communities and contribute to positive change across our town.
Our Board is hosting tailored awareness sessions to provide information about the programme and how it is being taken forward in Smethwick. These sessions are aimed at local faith groups, community organisations and businesses who can:
- learn more about Smethwick’s Plan for Neighbourhood Programme and 10-year Regeneration Plan
- hear feedback from community engagement carried out in 2025
- find out how the funding application process will work
- ask questions and speak directly with our Board members
