
We're inviting young people aged 14 to 25 to join us and help shape the future of Smethwick.
The Smethwick Partnership Board oversee the delivery of the £23.5 million Smethwick Towns Fund Programme and the up to £20 million Plan for Neighbourhoods Programme.
Our Board, chaired by Alan Taylor, Sandwell Business Ambassador and Business Representative of MI Glass, brings together stakeholders from the community, business, voluntary, public-sector, and faith organisations, alongside our local MP. We are also looking to recruit young people to join us, ensuring their voices and ideas help shape the future of Smethwick.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from anyone aged 14 to 25 who lives, studies, works, or has a connection to Smethwick.
What you will gain by joining us
As a Board member, you will have the chance to:
- Represent the voice of young people
- Influence the development of projects in Smethwick
- Share your opinions on how projects are impacting young people
- Advise us on how to engage with more young people
