Businesses across Sandwell and the wider UK are being invited to take part in the returning Green Advantage Programme, launching in May 2026.
The programme offers practical support to help organisations embed sustainability into their operations while unlocking new opportunities for growth.
Supporting long-term business growth
Open to business leaders from all sectors, the programme is designed to help organisations build a clear Sustainability Roadmap to guide the next 5–10 years of development. Through a combination of expert-led workshops, peer mentoring and one-to-one coaching, participants will gain the tools to take meaningful action.
The programme focuses on strengthening sustainability credentials, helping businesses become more competitive when securing investment and winning contracts, while also supporting wider environmental impact.
Practical support
Participants will take part in six structured workshops covering key areas including sustainability strategy, circular economy approaches, digital adoption and energy efficiency. Alongside this, businesses will receive personalised coaching and access to peer group mentoring.
The programme is delivered in collaboration with partners including Aston University and Sustainability West Midlands, giving businesses access to specialist expertise and valuable regional networks.
Open to all sectors
Previous cohorts have included a wide range of organisations, from major employers such as Mars UK and National Grid to SMEs, public sector organisations and charities. This diversity highlights the growing importance of sustainability across all industries.
The programme will run from May to July 2026, with a mix of in-person and online sessions designed to fit around business commitments.
