Sandwell Business Ambassadors
The Sandwell Business Ambassadors are a network of senior leaders from across the borough who champion local enterprise and support inclusive economic growth.
Launched in 2016, the programme brings together experienced businesspeople who use their knowledge, networks and influence to represent Sandwell’s business community and promote the borough as a strong place to do business.
What the Ambassadors do
Ambassadors support activity that strengthens the local economy and raises the profile of Sandwell. This includes:

Championing the borough as a place to start and grow a business

Supporting collaboration between businesses and partners

Promoting responsible business practice through the principle of ‘Doing Business Better’

Sharing insight on issues affecting the local business community
The role of Business Ambassador is voluntary and carried out alongside existing professional responsibilities.
Although the network works closely with Sandwell Council, particularly the Business Growth team, it operates independently and sets its own agenda.
