INHABIT Hub

The INHABIT Hub is a research project focused on ensuring that as the UK upgrades its homes to be more energy-efficient (a process known as "retrofitting") to meet net-zero climate goals, these homes also become healthier places to live.

The project researches how improvements like better insulation and heating systems affect indoor air quality, dampness, and overall health. Their goal is to provide evidence-based advice to the government and industry to ensure that retrofitting leads to warmer, cleaner, and healthier homes for everyone, rather than accidentally creating issues like poor ventilation or mould.
