My Life, My Way
Tuesday 24 February saw a bustling event held at Portway Lifestyle Centre that brought together commissioners, social work leads and day opportunities teams along with day service providers and people who use our services.
The event was all about starting a conversation about what works well, what needs to improve and what could be done differently to re-shape day service and day opportunity provision within Sandwell – led by people with direct experiences of using them!
There was lots of lively table top discussions, a 'graffiti wall', and even a video diary room to capture ideas and innovation.
We are hoping to deliver more events like this to gain insight into what people using our services would like to see in the future.
