Greets Green and Lyng lies in the West Bromwich town of Sandwell, with a population of 14,720. The ward is represented by 3 members of the council. West Bromwich town also consists of Charlemont with Grove Vale, Great Barr with Yew Tree, Hateley Heath, Newton and West Bromwich Central.

Greets Green and Lyng is home to Oak House, a 17th century farmers house which is now a museum with children’s play area. The House was first built about 1620 and is furnished with furniture from that time period. Visit Oak House and take a step back in time to see what life was like 400 years ago.
