Coordinated Admission Arrangements Scheme
Every council has a duty to publish schemes which set out the administrative arrangements to be followed for the co-ordination of applications for admission each September.
For admissions to primary and secondary schools, coordination arrangements must cover all applicants living in the area of the local authority even though one or more of their preferences may include schools outside of the local authority.
In accordance with the requirements of the Admissions Code, the admission arrangements for community and controlled schools for September 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 have been formally determined and can be found on the link's below.
The council is also required to submit a report to the school's adjudicator each year which covers a range of admission issues.
