Work is set to begin on a major upgrade to Haden Hill Park’s play area, with construction starting on Saturday 18 October, and expected to last around ten weeks.
The improvements are part of the £2.87 million government-funded Rowley Regis Parks Improvement Project, which aims to enhance Britannia Park and Haden Hill Park, and create better facilities for families and the community.
As part of the upgrade, visitors can look forward to a brand-new toddler play area, offering a modern and engaging space for young children to enjoy.
To allow for the works, the existing play area will be temporarily closed. The main car park will remain open, though some parking spaces will be unavailable while contractors set up a site compound. The construction will not impact any other parts of the park, which will stay open to visitors throughout the project.
