Open day at Sandwell Valley Crematorium

A special open day is to be held at the Sandwell Valley Crematorium at West Bromwich, as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week.
At the open day on Saturday 18 May people will be able to get information about the bereavement related services available in Sandwell.
Registration Service manager Mark Satchwell said: “Visitors will be able to see what happens behind the scenes at a crematorium.
“Staff will be available to discuss cremations burials, memorials, wakes, digital autopsy and other funeral-related services.”
The crematorium at Newton Road, West Bromwich will be open to visitors between 10am and 3pm.
There are several events across Sandwell as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week including an open day at the Sandwell Day Hospice at Rowley Regis Hospital, an event at Oldbury Library, and a coffee morning at Murray Hall Community Trust at Tipton.
