Summary of services
Services they operate are around supporting adults with a learning disability with all aspects of their life. From personal care and support to housing related support. Their packages range from a couple of hours per week to 24 hours a day. They can manage your accommodation / home, deal with maintenance issues, pay bills, ensure correct benefit entitlement, resolve neighbour disputes, explore opportunities for education, training and employment. They develop community and social networks, deal with personal administration / correspondence, establish links with health services, develop independent living skills, seek / move onto alternative accommodation. It is the aim of the service that support will decrease as individuals become more independent.
