The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and adult social care in England. From 1 October 2010 organisations were registered under the Health and Social Care Act, CQC monitors whether they continue to meet the essential standards of quality and safety. Entries in the directory that are registered will be shown as `Registered` and there will be a link to further details of the organisation and reports published.Providers in categories outside of those relevant for CQC regulation will be shown as `Not applicable`
