As Councillors, we may collect and process personal information during the course of our duties. In the eyes of the law, Elected Representatives are information Controllers in our own right. Council services may serve as processors for us. Which means that Councillors can give instruction to relevant Council services about how the information Councillors control should be used. For example, the Council’s ICT service, providing systems and applications for our use.
