The latest advice on Covid-19

There are still steps you can take to reduce the risk of catching and spreading Covid-19:

Free testing for Covid-19 has ended for most people.

You may still be able to get free rapid lateral flow tests if you work for the NHS or in social care, are going into hospital, or you’re at high risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19.

Autumn boosters

Care home residents, people aged 75 and over and people at risk of serious illness from Covid-19 will be invited to get their autumn Covid-19 booster.

The NHS will contact you and invite you to book your booster when it’s due.

Vaccinations for children

Children aged 5-11 can get a Covid-19 vaccine. You can take your child to a number of local sites for their 1st or 2nd jab – no appointment needed. Book an appointment or find a walk-in site near you for your child's vaccination.

If you have Covid-19 symptoms you should still avoid contact with others.  If you test positive, stay at home.
