Coronavirus - Closure of council buildings and cancellation of events in response to coronavirus

Public spaces such as local parks and Sandwell Valley are open to the public but members of the public are reminded to ensure they follow government guidelines on social distancing.

All local offices are open including Smethwick and Wednesbury local offices. Please note that other services at Smethwick Council House and Wednesbury Town Hall are still closed.

If you need help to access council services, create a MySandwell account. There's also further information about paying bills while council offices are closed.

All large-scale events taking place in Sandwell are cancelled. This includes events organised by Sandwell Council and externally-organised events in Sandwell.

The council will review arrangements and update this page when we have further details.
