Sandwell Consortium Bridges programme

Sandwell Consortium offers intensive support and tailored interventions in a range of community and outreach settings across Sandwell to anyone who is:

  • 25 years and over
  • Unemployed (cannot be in part time work or on 0 hours contract)
  • Economically Inactive (including those not working who are claiming benefits)
  • Has complex needs/multiple barriers which are impacting on their ability to enter paid employment
  • Requires support to fully and independently engage with existing services

Sandwell Consortium Family Matters programme

Sandwell Consortium offer free support to individuals who are aged over 15 years old to develop their skills & secure employment. Activities include:

  • One-to-One Mentoring
  • Numeracy & Literacy Courses
  • Access to Childcare
  • Benefit Check
  • Job Club
  • CV and Application Form Support
  • Interview Preparation
  • Volunteer Opportunities

Restart Scheme

The Restart Scheme gives Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for at least 9 months enhanced support to find jobs in their local area.
