Our learning and development offer to you

To support the Council in achieving its 2030 Vision, Sandwell’s Learning and Development team provide a range of learning and development opportunities and interventions, so that you are motivated, skilled and confident to deliver excellent services.

There are a range of development opportunities available, from on the job training, professional qualifications, employee and management development.

Employees new to Sandwell will have the opportunity to attend our Welcome to Sandwell induction event and meet our Chief Executive. This is a great opportunity for you to find out more about Sandwell and the services we deliver, network with new and existing employees and pick up essential information on what’s available to you as a new employee.

We are the biggest employer in Sandwell with over 4,000 people performing 100’s of different roles, this means our employees have access to a variety of career routes.
