We have a database where we keep landlords email addresses (we only keep email addresses if Landlords are happy for us to keep it). For those whose email addresses we do have, you would have been given a ‘privacy statement’ which explained why we keep the information and what we require to do with the information. It is essential that you also give your tenants a ‘privacy statement’ so that they are aware of why you hold on to their information and what you do with their information. It is also required that you are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
