Covid - 19 and Tenants

Covid 19 and Tenants

Living in shared accommodation during this pandemic can be really dangerous. Sandwell Council know this and want to make sure that everyone is keeping safe.

We want to make sure that you are all following the guidance that has been given to us from the NHS, for example, making sure that you are keeping at least a 2 meter distance from one another, washing your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and also social distancing from friends and family. By doing so you will be keeping yourself from hard and also those who live with you.

We understand that living with other tenants may be hard, but it is essential that you continue to thoroughly clean your surroundings. If you have used a work space, please clean it before you move away so that it is disinfected for the next person to use. Make sure that you are using separate towels. The best thing to do in a time like this is to have a rota for when each tenant will use the bathroom and kitchen.

If you are concerned about the lack of cleanliness in the property then please contact your Landlord and ask for more supplies in order to keep the household clean.

If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact us by email: landlord_licensing@sandwell.gov.uk or you can call us on 0121 368 1177 (option 7).
