Clickwise Campaign


The Clickwise Campaign involved the Chair of SHAPE Youth Forum and former Youth Commissioner of Sandwell, Adam Shaikh delivering a project on online safety to parents and young people (flyer attached).

As part of the event, Loudmouth theatre drama company enacted a drama production on CSE and conducted a workshop with parents. Young people who attended were delivered workshops by CSE Team and Brook.

Around 150 parents and children attended in the 7 schools where the events took place. Although attendance was figures were lower than expected the feedback received from parents was extremely positive.

Adam is a victim of CSE and due to his determination to fulfil this project and speak to many parents and young people, Adam has been awarded the Outstanding Citizens Award from the Police and Crime Commissioner from the West Midlands.

Further funding has been confirmed by the Safer Sandwell Partnership Police and Crime Board (SSPCB) for this project. If any school is interested in the project and would like a bespoke event for the school with parents please contact by Monday 10th September 2018 with details.
