Arranging a burial

Five of our cemeteries in Sandwell have burial plots available.

Purchasing a burial plot

There are many different types of sections within our cemeteries for people to choose from. Each section has different memorial sizes permitted.

You can purchase the Exclusive Rights of Burial for a grave space for 99 years. This means no burial can take place in your chosen plot without your consent.

For more information about the cost of burials, download our current fees and charges.

Arranging a wake

Find out about arranging a wake at our reception suite at Sandwell Valley Crematorium.

Transfer of grave deeds

Grave owners may transfer their grave deeds to another person.

On rare occasions families seek to have the remains of their loved ones exhumed from one of our cemeteries. There are strict regulations that need to be adhered to in order for an exhumation to be carried out.
