The Community Projects are based at different venues, and offer a range of opportunities to support individuals to learn new skills, develop their talents and improve independence.
What do we offer?
Creative Arts
The Creative Arts service supports people to build their confidence through creating arts and craft items to sell, and gaining experience of being in a real work environment.
Performing Arts
The Performing Arts service uses drama and dance to support people to develop their confidence and communication skills. This project aims to raise expectations both of and for people with disabilities.
Life Skills
The Life Skills staff team are based at Jack Judge House, Oldbury. The team work with individuals on a one to one basis for a time limited period to develop the skills needed for work. The service offers short term work experience placements and a holistic approach to supporting individuals on their pathway to employment.
Horticulture
The Horticulture project uses allotment plots in West Bromwich and Oldbury to help people understand healthy eating and supports regular exercise. Idividuals can plant, grow and cultivate their plots and are supported cook what they have grown while at the service and at home with their families.
