Thanks to everyone who took part in last week’s #NationalCustomerServiceWeek activities which included:
The launch and completion of 2 makeover projects supported by Dodd Group and GRAHAM Group and a number of their sub-contractors: SRS, EML Projects and Liam Lloyd Construction at Yew Tree and West Bromwich community centres. Works included painting, lighting upgrades, shed roof recovering and staining & varnishing as well as landscaping to improve access for wheelchair users.
Donations of a microwave, air fryer and garden furniture have also been very well received by centre users.
The cake & samosa sale and lunchtime quiz raised £213 for the mayor’s charities, which this year are Acorns Children’s Hospice and Polio UK fellowship. Special thanks to everyone who baked and donated cakes and bought them on the day.
Congratulations to the winning quiz team. 11 teams took part to test their customer service knowledge. Scores were very close, with the winning team being decided by a tie breaker question.
Congratulations to staff, colleagues and contractors who were nominated as customer stars. Special Congratulations to Kaye Tranter from Sandwell Property Care Helpdesk who was awarded the 2025 ‘Super’ Customer Star with 3 nominations.
