Christ Church the Quinton (and Brandhall) is a well-established registered charity that offer a range of outreach projects throughout the week. The organisation works in partnership with other churches across the borough and created the Brandhall Community Hub in 2021.

The Teens 2 Toddlers project based at Brandhall Community Hub in Oldbury started in May 2022. The purpose is to provide free pre-loved children’s clothing for the local community.

Due to an increase in demand, there is a dedicated drop-in session every Thursday when parents and agencies can come and collect free children’s clothing and school uniform. Currently all clothes are stored in black bags with labels over them.

The organisation is requesting CIL funding to purchase items such as shelving, boxes, clothes rails, mannequins, portable tube heaters, pavement board sign.

This will enable them to sort, store and display the items of clothing, keep the space tidy, safe, and easy to access when distributing the items. This will provide a service that reflects more of a shopping experience rather than a jumble sale.

Amount of CIL funding being requested is £2,288.
