Working at an election
When there are local, general and other elections, the council needs staff to work at polling stations, at the verification and count and also opening postal votes.
You will be paid for your work.
If you have worked for the elections team on election day before, we already have your details. You do not need to apply again – the elections team will contact you to tell you where you will be working.
