Annual Carol Concert
Celebrations are well in hand for the 119th Annual Christmas Carol Concert at West Bromwich Town Hall on Saturday 13 December 2008 at 7.30pm.
There will be performances from Langley Band, Light Harmony - Choir, Maggie O'Hara - Soloist, Keith Hearnshaw - Organist and the concert will be compered by Mike Wyer of Smooth Radio.
Greets Green Christmans Festival
The annual Greets Green Christmas Festival is back for 2008 and will take place at The Public in West Bromwich Town Centre on Saturday 6th December.
The landmark building will host a wide range of live entertainment while the adjacent West Bromwich Town Square will be used to stage some fantastic attractions including children's rides and an ice skating rink.
Gaming the Tibby
Tipton's Tibbington Estate is putting Sandwell on the map, after winning a prestigious national Guardian Public Services Awards. Gaming the Tibby encourages Tibbington residents to get involved with decision making about the future of their local area by entering a virtual environment, which replicates the open space created by the recent demolition of homes.
People can then use a huge range of virtual building tools and objects to create new ideas and see how their designs alter the site.
Garden Waste Wheeled Bin Collections
Residents are reminded that the garden waste wheeled bin collection service does not operate after the first week in December until the end of January.
Therefore, final wheeled bin collections for this year are now taking place.

Council Tax Discount Review
The Council will be writing to all residents currently receiving a 25% single person discount for Council Tax for you to provide written confirmation of your continued entitlement and give you the opportunity to advise us of a change to the number of occupants within your household.
