Summary of services
Shared Lives (Adult Placement) offers adults with a learning disability the opportunity to live with a family in a long term placement or to have a short respite break in a family environment. They also offer day opportunities type support.
When are the services run?
The services are tailored to assessed need including 24/7 support from host carers.
Office hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4.30pm
The service recruits people who live in Sandwell to be Shared Lives carers, opening up their home to adults with a learning disability to either live with them as part of the family, or to have short respite breaks in a family environment
