The main reception at Sandwell Council House, Oldbury, will be closed from 1pm on Tuesday 21 May due to Annual Council.
The reception will re-open as normal at 9am on Wednesday 22 May. Access council services online →
People with all forms of hearing loss, i.e. deaf/ hard of hearing/deafened/ deafblind people.
We accept self referals and referals from other agencies.

Summary of services
SDCA delivers specialist services to deaf and hard of hearing people on behalf of Sandwell Council. We provide a variety of services including Information, Advocacy, Volunteers, Training, Communication, Welfare Rights, Support Service, Consultation and Research and Community Groups.
Centre is open on Monday to Friday 9 - 5pm. We are also open some weekends and evenings due to community groups, events and training courses.
We aim to actively encourage, empower and enrich the lives of deaf and hard of hearing people in Sandwell by providing accessible community-based services.
Non chargeable services - Volunteer, Information, Communication Service Drop in; Advocacy and Welfare Rights. (Note: Advocacy and Welfare Right service are for Sandwell residents only.)
