| Summary of services | Sandwell Libraries offer: books for loan - for adults and children including spoken word and large print. Free library membership and computer access. Free access to a range of information sources including online resources available 24/7. Free newspapers and magazines to read. Activities for children including storytelling and craft sessions. Adult activities including author visits, reading groups, IT classes. There is an 'Online Learning Centre' with Learndirect based in the library. The Online Learning team offer Level 1 & 2 in IT and Employability Course. The courses are free to people who are unemployed and free to those on Job Seekers Allowance. Charges apply to people who are employed. They offer flexible learning hours. To find out more call 0121 285 0604 and select option 4. |
