Sharing your home, sharing your life
Sandwell Shared Lives aims to help people with a learning disability and/or Autism, aged 16 and over, to gain more independence and control over their lives whilst living in the Sandwell borough.
Shared Lives Scheme offers long term placements, short term overnight respite and day respite. Our capacity varies which changes in the number of available carers.
The scheme is always open to recruitment of new carers living in the Sandwell borough. See more on this here: Become a Shared Lives Carer.
The scheme is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) – the independent regulator of health and social care in England. We are inspected on a regular basis to ensure we comply with the fundamental standards of care set by the CQC. You can read our most recent inspection report on the CQC website.
Sandwell Shared Lives is part of a wider organisation and membership called Shared Lives Plus.
