A new secondary school on Kelvin Way West Bromwich

Sandwell Council is seeking proposals from partners interested in developing a new 5 forms of entry secondary school in West Bromwich.

As pupil numbers continue to grow in primary schools the demand for secondary places is set to increase in the next few years. In preparation for this Sandwell has identified a highly desirable school site on Kelvin Way, West Bromwich which can be developed to provide 750 new secondary school places. The Council is inviting applications from proposers who it is hoped will be able to deliver high quality outcomes for young people in the borough.

Full information is available in our presumption document "A New Secondary School on Kelvin Way West Bromwich" and an application form can also be downloaded for any interested proposer.

More information which may help you in the application process is available on the Department for Education’s site for Free School presumption.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Friday 20 October 2017.
