Tividale Park open day
Published 2nd July 2019
A special “open day” at Tividale Park will provide lots of family fun – and a chance for people to give their views on what improvements could be made to the area.
The open day on Saturday 6 July will give youngsters a chance to get involved in all kinds of activities, including tree spotting, bug hunts and nature walks.
The event, which is run by members of the Friends of Tividale Park group, will also give people the chance to express their hopes for the area and give their views on recent improvements to the park.
A Friends spokesman said: “Anyone with ideas can chat to members of the Friends of Tividale Park at the Park’s Community Hub at the open day which starts at 1pm.
“We are also anxious to hear from any individuals or groups interested in using the new Hub, such as friendship groups, walking and cycling groups, book clubs and for other community events.
Councillor Sharon Davies, town lead for Oldbury, said: “The event will bring a little fun to the park which has improved in recent times and enable people to get involved with the very keen Friends group.”
