Road resurfacing work

Drivers are being warned they could face delays when work to resurface a Smethwick road starts later this week.
So that the work can be carried out on Queens Road it will mean Douglas Road will have to be closed.
The work will be carried out on September 27 and 28.
Traffic will be diverted via Douglas Road, Warley Road, Queens Road and vice versa.
The resurfacing work on Queens Road will be controlled by stop and go management.
This diversion will only be operational during off peak (9.30am - 3.30pm hours).
