A Sandwell teenager has tumbled her way to a career-best bronze medal representing Team GB in Portugal.
Perryfields High pupil Kayleigh
Peakman, aged 14, won bronze in tumbling gymnastics at the Loule World
Cup.
Kayleigh, who lives in Tividale, has been competing since the age of seven and trains with Woodlands Gymnastics Centre in Coventry.
Her proud dad Darren paid tribute to her hard work and determination, saying: "We were all over the moon she got selected to represent her country - but to get a medal is just amazing. It's outstanding."
Darren said Kayleigh would now be aiming for the World Championships in Bulgaria next year.
