Laying of new electricity cable

A Smethwick road will be temporarily closed for electricity cable work to be carried out.

The work in Florence Road is being carried out by Western Power Distribution. Florence Road will be temporarily closed from September 3 to September 23. Traffic will be diverted via Shireland Road, Cape Hill, Montague Road and vice-versa. The closure is to allow a new electricity cable to be installed.
