Harvester, Deichmann and Phones 4 U coming to West Bromwich
Published on 6th July 2012
Deichmann, Harvester and Phones 4 U are the three latest names to sign up for the New Square shopping centre in West Bromwich.
The shoe store, restaurant and mobile phone retailer will join Primark, Next, JD Sports, Bank, Arcadia and Tesco Extra when New Square opens next summer.
The development will have leisure quarter with an Odeon cinema, restaurants and bars, including Nandos and Prezzo, and will create around 2,000 new jobs in West Bromwich.
Councillor Derek Rowley, cabinet member for jobs and economy, said:
"After so many years of planning, we are excited to see the transformation happen and are delighted to welcome so many fantastic stores to the town. We believe New Square will alter the retail fortunes to the town and attract many people who perhaps have never visited us.
"The scheme is a vital part of our ambitious regeneration plans and will vastly improve the look and feel of West Bromwich."
