Safer Sandwell Partnership

Safer Sandwell Partnership logoThe Crime and Disorder Act 1998 placed a statutory duty on a wide range of agencies to work together to tackle crime and improve community safety. The local Community Safety Partnership is known as the Safer Sandwell Partnership (SSP).

The SSP includes a wide range of public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations.

The following are represented on the SSP Board:

Safer Sandwell Partnership Strategic Plan 2011-15

Safer Sandwell Partnership (SSP) is the community safety partnership for the borough of Sandwell.

SSP has developed a draft plan to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, prevent and reduce reoffending, tackle fear of crime and promote public reassurance, address problematic drug and alcohol use and improve community cohesion across the borough.
