Consultation on Main Modifications

The Inspector, Mr Crysell, has proposed a number of main modifications to the Sandwell Site Allocations and Delivery DPD and West Bromwich AAP following the recent examination hearing sessions. These are changes he considers are necessary to make the plans sound.

The Inspector now invites all parties who have made submissions on either of the above plans to write in and let him know their views on the main modifications, if they wish to do so. All comments in respect of these changes and no other matters must be sent to the Programme Officer:

The cut-off deadline for any submission (via email or post) is Tuesday 26 June 2012. The Inspector will consider any representations in response to these changes before completing his report to the council.

Consultation on Additional Modifications

Sandwell Council is publishing a number of additional modifications to the Sandwell Site Allocations and Delivery DPD and West Bromwich AAP. these are minor changes which have been made in response to earlier representations and to correct factual errors and mistakes, or clarify points which arose during the Examination and are for information only.

The council now invites all parties who have made submissions on either of the above plans to write in and let them know their views on the additional modifications. Please note that none of these modifications affect the soundness of the plans and comments received will not be passed onto the Inspector.

Consultation on National Planning Policy Framework

The consultation period for comments regarding the recently published National Planning Policy Framework (The Framework) and Planning Policy for Traveller Sites as far as they relate to the Sandwell Site Allocations and Delivery DPD and the West Bromwich AAP ended on Monday 14 May 2012. Comments were received and these will be taken into account by the Inspector before he finalises his report. Comments were received from:

• Natural England
