Allotment Gardening is one of the healthiest pastimes anyone can become involved in. Good Food. Exercise. Meet New People.

Some Allotment Sites in Sandwell have toilet facilities. Some have raised beds for less able gardeners. Some have improved roads and paths that allow for wheelchair access. Some sites have been set up as Community Agriculture Projects. All have a friendly welcome waiting.

Sandwell Council recognises that Allotment Gardening provides an invaluable contribution towards an healthier lifestyle. In 2004 The Sandwell Allotments and Community Gardening Strategy document was released. This documents sets out the way forward for Allotments in Sandwell over the next ten years.
