Sandwell Valley parking charges

Parking charges now apply at the following car parks at Sandwell Valley in West Bromwich:

  • Lodge Hill Road
  • Sandwell Valley
  • Swan Pool
  • Forge Mill Farm Visitor Centre

Charges apply between 9am and 6pm every day in summer (when British Summer Time is in force) and between 9:30am and 3pm every day in winter (when Greenwich Mean Time is in force)

Charges do not apply outside these times - meaning dog walkers, joggers and anyone visiting before 9am in summer, or 9:30am in winter, or visiting after 6pm in summer or 3pm in winter can park for free.

Pay and display

Pay and display at these car parks will be charged as follows:

  • Up to one hour - 40p
  • Up to two hours - 80p            
  • Up to three hours - £1.20
  • Up to four hours - £1.60
  • More than four hours (all day) - £2
  • One year season ticket - £40

Parking is free for Blue Badge holders.

Buy a season ticket

Regular visitors can purchase an annual parking permit for £40 which can be used all year to park in any Sandwell Valley car park. These season tickets are not valid at any other long or short stay council car park or on event days. Events at the Valley will be advertised at least 21 days in advance.

To buy a season ticket, download and fill in the season ticket form, enclose a cheque for £40 payable to Sandwell MBC and return to:

Please note, refunds are not available for any annual season ticket.
