Parking permits

If you have a parking permit that expires on 31 March 2020 and you have been unable to renew it - please display your expired permit in your vehicle throughout April. You will not be issued with a penalty charge notice as long as you have the expired permit displayed. We will update this in accordance with the government's advice.

There are two types of parking permits available in Sandwell.

Car park permits

You can buy a permit that allows you to park in public car parks and on-street parking bays as often as you like. These are sometimes called "season tickets" and can be paid for monthly or yearly.

Residents' parking permits

If your street has a residents' parking scheme, you need to buy a permit to park your vehicle. You can also buy vouchers for visitors to park near your home.

Parking at Sandwell Valley

You can buy an annual season ticket to park at Sandwell Valley.
