Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Housing

What we do

The Environmental Health Team undertakes a wide range of statutory functions including the inspection of food outlets and food sampling, the team also carries out inspections of non-industrial workplaces, infectious disease cases, public health risks, emissions of air pollutants and the control of noise, both domestic and industrial.

  • Deal with the provision/maintenance of licences to certain businesses within the borough
