Feel Good 6

What is wellbeing?

Wellbeing is about feeling good and doing well in our day-to-day life. Lots of things play a part in our wellbeing, including what we do and the way we think. Other things are important too; our lifestyle, work, money, education, health and where we live, all play a part in how we feel.

Sandwell's Feel Good 6

Here in Sandwell we have six ways to get everyone feeling good! The actions are simple things that we can all do in our everyday lives.

Why are we doing this?

In 2011, the Department of Health launched a strategy document called No Health without Mental Health. This document encouraged the adoption of the ways to wellbeing campaign.

In Sandwell we believe it's important to help people stay healthier for longer, and how you feel has a big part to play in this.

 

What we want you to do?

We want you to talk about wellbeing, and take action on each of our six ways. Click on our action pages for simple tips to introduce small things into your everyday life that will make a positive difference to how you are feeling.

Resources

We have various materials available to help groups and individuals be part of Sandwell's Feel Good 6:

Activity materials can be downloaded and used with individuals or groups

Campaign materials can help you learn more about the 6 ways and promote our campaign in your circles.
