My name is Thea Lowe and I am 12 years old. I have never entered a talent competition before and was thrilled to win the heat. I should be very grateful if you are able to vote for me as it would be an amazing privilege to take part in the final. This experience has already improved my confidence and I hope to continue to develop my singing and performance skills by joining a local musical theatre company and taking part in local music festivals. Ultimately, I would love to appear on the West End! I would encourage all young people in Sandwell to take advantage of the amazing opportunities the SHAPE programme provides and would like to thank the youth workers, judges and organisers for their hard work and commitment in organising the SHAPE Your Talent competition and giving all of the contestants a platform to showcase their talents.
Hi my name is Mija Jane Rickers and I am 13. I entered SHAPE Your Talent 2019 to show people what I love to do and to help build my confidence in dance. it’s the first time I have entered a competition like this and performed a solo routine. I have choreographed it myself adding many of my favourite moves, I must have change it over 100 times ??. I would like to become a dance teacher in the future and help children build their confidence and achieve their dreams of becoming maybe the next ‘ballerina’ or ‘street dancer’ or just love dance like I do. I am not a professional dancer I just love to dance and enjoy it so much. If you have enjoyed it too, then please vote for me. Thank you for watching my video.

Hi, we are Jaimee-Lee and Oliva, aka The ‘Tinx’ and we are both 11 years old. We first sang together at the Halesowen Carnival last year and everyone commented how well we harmonised with each other. We have been singing together ever since at every opportunity we get and have quickly become best of friends! We auditioned together for Voice Kids in 2018 which was a great experience. We were really happy to win our heat of SHAPE this year. We chose our name through our mutual love of fairies and all things magical. We love gymnastics and dancing but most of all girly sleepovers which we talk our parents in to as much as possible! We are excited to take part in the SHAPE experience together and hope this is just the start of something special. Please help make our dreams come true by voting for ‘The Tinx'.
Hello, my name is Jack Murphy, I am 12 years old and 13 in July. I entered SHAPE because singing is something I've been doing properly for around 4 years now, and it's also something I enjoy.
I've entered multiple talent shows such as Britain's Got Talent and The Voice Kids. My dream would be to become a professional singer on a stage.
People should vote for me because I want to give entertainment to the public. Singing is also a form of downtime for me, during bad times, I sing to let out my emotions, and I just enjoy myself.
Thank you for reading, I hope you'll vote for me.
My name is Shreya Sunith. I am 10 years old. I have been part of the SHAPE Your Talent competition since 2017 and I was one of the semi-finalists in 2017. I am a member of my school choir and I also like to sing solo. I entered the SHAPE Your Talent competition again this year so that I can improve my confidence singing in front of big audience. In the future, I’d really like to pursue my passion for music and hopefully this will be a big stepping stone – but I need your help to chase my dream.
So here I am singing "If I Were A Boy" by Beyonce. Please can I ask for your vote as this would mean that I could get through to the next level. Thank you.

I have been given the most amazing opportunity to audition for SHAPE Your Talent competition. I am so committed to my singing and from this, I am currently recording my first album that will be out soon. I am having so much fun and learning a lot about the industry and more importantly, who I’m becoming. I would love to win this competition, so I can spread positivity through music and to bring a new style to the generation which I hope to inspire. It would be massively appreciated if you could vote for me, so I can continue doing what I love and achieve my dreams. I believe that this generation is broken and through the music I am producing I want to help create a kinder and more loving generation. I aspire to be different as that is what I’m called to be and through music I express myself.
I entered the show because I just love to perform and meet up with like-minded people.
The show was so well put together and massively exceeded my expectations of what a cold evening in Tipton could be like. Backstage were really friendly and I met some great people.
The entertainment industry is tough and in reality, most of us will never be famous. That shouldn’t stop us from being the best we can and showcasing whatever talent we have, whenever we are given the opportunity. I hope I can always be involved in music and making the best music I can, whatever that form may take, and I’ll continue to explore different genres and collaborate whenever I get the chance.
If you liked my jazz version of this song, I would be honoured if you would please vote for me.
Ben George Ezra
Hello, I would like to introduce myself my name is Ben Sims-Gadd. I have a passion for singing and determination to succeed. My solo is called George Ezra tribute as I think that his approach to music he has taken pop to a higher level.
Being as I'm 16 I am still in high school, undertaking my GCSEs with a view to becoming a musician after I finish my exams. I have the ability to be able to use my music an outlet for my emotions which helps me and also others to become more positive and contented people, but know I need more guidance if I am to become a distinguished musician.
I know with the support of potential voters I would gain the reassurance I need, to continue and strive for perfection so I can continue to help others through my music.
Thank you for this opportunity.
We are Karulinaa aged 19, Karushana aged 17 and Learulina aged 15.
We entered this competition not only to bring in diversity but to bring in and represent our culture and history to this present era. Bharatanatyam, is a classical dance form that has originated from south India in 500 BC. Bharatanatyam has encouraged many dancers to learn this intricate dance form, within generations to generations, however, it is still unknown by many in the communities we live in. By entering in this competition, we aim to achieve teaching Bharatnatyam to our local communities, embracing its history and allowing all ages and people of all abilities to learn this fine art. We think people should vote for us because we have brought fresh talent into this competition. Your vote will enable us to showcase this art form within the communities of Sandwell and provide an advantage for people to learn Bharatnatyam in the future.
My name is Francesca Barker and I’m performing a modern dance routine, I am 16 years old and I have been dancing since I was 2. I entered the competition for experience as I would like to dance in the future and you can’t have enough audition experience. My ultimate dream would be to perform in the dance industry as a full-time career.
I think you should vote for me as I am committed, and I am very passionate about what I do and I hope that comes through in my performance.
Hello, my name is Macaully Edwards. I’m 14 years old and have only recently discovered my love for singing. Though I've always appreciated music, admired artists and felt emotional within lyrics, I have struggled with confidence.
Being able to get onto a stage in front of people was a scary thought. After having eight singing lessons my teacher suggested this competition to build that confidence.
AMAZING!! It felt unreal and got me here today!
I want nothing more than to look into my future and be able to see I have proved to myself, I can do it, I can be confident, feel connected to my audience and most of all I can push myself to the best of my ability! Please vote for me and help believe dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them!
Sophie Rose De-Bear
I'm Sophie Rose De-Bear and I am currently a Year 13 student at George Salter Academy.
I try to use performing arts to spread messages about serious subjects that are affecting the youth within both the UK and Sandwell and how we can combat them. Even though I am about to move away to study for a degree, I still want to be able to make a difference within our community so that young people are able to grow up in a safe space.
Thank you for watching my performance!
