Sandwell College Central Campus
The new Sandwell College Central Campus in West Bromwich is an impressive modern building visible for miles around. Hosting 10,000 full and part-time students, attracting thousands of new visitors to the town centre.
The eye-catching building on Spon Lane is close to all major transport links as well as the town's main shopping areas. It brings together the three existing college campuses of Oldbury, Smethwick and West Bromwich into a state-of-the-art building.
The new Central Campus boasts an automotive centre, beauty and hairdressing salons, computer suites, engineering laboratories, fashion and photography studios and other training facilities for students to help create bright futures for Sandwell's residents.
The striking £77 million building officially opened in February 2012.
The new Central Campus:

Sandwell College is one of the largest providers of general further education (FE). The college which has campuses at Oldbury, Smethwick and West Bromwich, mainly provides provision for 16-18 year olds but also caters for those aged 19 and over.
