Applications to rent a specific property must be made as specified on the particulars with further details to be provided at the time of viewing of each individual premise.
If there is more than one person interested in a specific property the council will invite interested parties to submit an offer in accordance with the council's sealed offer procedure, details of which will be supplied at the appropriate time.
A satisfactory bank and two trade references are necessary for the formal offer of a lease*.
Rent will be payable quarterly by bank standing order and a bond equal to three months of the agreed rent will be required in the event of the non-payment of rent or breach of repairing covenant.
Lessees will also be responsible for payment of the council's legal costs in connection with the preparation of the lease.
