Gambling Policy Consultation

Sandwell Council is currently reviewing it’s Gambling Policy Statement of Principles under the Gambling Act 2005. The reviewed Policy will then be published and adopted in March 2020. 

We want Sandwell to offer a wide choice of high quality and well managed entertainment and cultural venues within a safe, orderly and attractive environment that is valued by those who live, work and come to visit.  We also want to ensure that businesses operate responsibly and safely so that our residents live in decent neighbourhoods and have a good quality of life.  

As part of our consultation on our Gambling Policy Statement of Principles, we want to invite all those interested in sharing their views to share their comments with us. The consultation period will run from Monday 16 September – Friday 18 October 2019.
